Buying a yacht is a great way to let others know how well you are doing but it is also a good investment because you are likely going to be using it for a very long time. Contrary to what many people believe, yachts do not have to cost a lot of money because they come in many different sizes and price ranges. If you choose to purchase a used yacht, it is even cheaper; because they are so well-made and sturdy, this is a great option for those on a budget. Much as with other products these days, yacht companies often have extensive websites that they use to detail their products and show you full-colour photographs so that you can see what you are researching. Most of these companies offer yachts from top brands such as Nautique, Prestige, and Monte Carlo, among others, so you can rely on them for many years to come.

Getting Started Is Easy

When you are looking at yachts, it is good to do a little research beforehand so that you can get an idea of the size that you want and what amenities you wish to include in your new boat. Websites that list their yachts for sale include information such as the make and model, length, layout of the boat, and anything else that you need to know before making a final decision. You can choose a shorter one with a lot of extras or a larger yacht with just the basics but when you wish to buy a yacht in Hong Kong, the first thing that you should do is conduct some research online. This means that, above all else, you can rest assured that you will find one without paying too much money for it.

Choose the Yacht of Your Dreams Quickly and Simply

Yachts come in so many sizes, designs, and colours that it is all but impossible not to find one you love, especially if you visit online yacht companies. This is often the simplest way to find the selection that allows you to find exactly what you are looking for and enables you to look around in your spare time without the pressure of working with a salesperson. Whether you choose a boat that is 4.5 metres long or over 30 metres long, these sites offer something for everyone, which makes finding the perfect yacht for your needs a lot easier. Used yachts can start at under €30,000 so almost anyone can find one that is affordable, making the purchase of these magnificent boats something to seriously consider.

Owning a yacht is both a status symbol and an extraordinary way to enjoy the water. Both new and used yachts can easily be found online, where you can shop at your convenience until you find the one that is right for you. Once you choose the one that you like, you can contact the online store administrator so you can schedule a viewing with the owner. Buying a yacht, therefore, is easier and faster than it has ever been and it all starts with the click of a mouse.

Our Three Favourite Bike Routes in the World

It wasn’t too long ago that riding a bike was one of the more unfashionable things you could do but with governments keen to push green living, the amount of cycling commuters is now quite frankly staggering. It could be said that this is one of the reasons why there has been a huge increase in interest in biking holidays, with couples in particular keen to hit exotic locations and see the sights with their bike.

Bearing the above in mind, we’ve now compiled a list of our three favourite bike track locations in the world. Admittedly, it’s going to be difficult for you to ditch the traditional beach holiday for one of these options, but just be aware that the hobby is turning into a global phenomenon and taking your bike on your travels is now becoming one of the more fashionable things to do.

Of course, before you read on, some preparation is required before you venture off into the wilderness on one of these tracks. Most of the suggestions will require you to have a specialist bike for you to even consider tackling the routes, whether this means getting hold of standard mens mountains bikes or one from a specific brand, such as Scott road bikes.

Barclays bikes, London

Great Ocean Road, Australia

While we don’t exactly endorse lugging your bike all the way across the world with you, if you can make it to Australia the Great Ocean Road route is arguably the most impressive in the world. It’s not exactly for the faint-hearted, with its total span being just short of 250km, although there are shorter tracks you can take if you so desire.

The beauty of the route is undoubtedly its variety and unlike many tracks which have just the one focal point, this has several. Its main selling point is its ocean views, although deeper into the route you will find yourself cycling through rural farms and wetlands. Any surfers out there could be advised to time their trip and hit Bells Beach – which is regarded as the surfing capital of the local Victoria region.

Hiawatha Trail, United States

For those looking for a shorter route, this track based between Idaho and Montana could be advised. Again, the scenery is second to none although at 24km, this is a track that can be performed in a day.

The star attraction of this route is unquestionably the rail aspect, with the track based upon a disused railroad. It ventures in and around the countryside, around the mountains and perhaps most impressively, through no fewer than ten tunnels. One of these tunnels lasts for over a tenth of the journey and this is something that often appeals to children. Therefore, if you are going with the family, the Hiawatha bike trail could be the way to go.

Great Divide, Canada to the United States

The name of this route suggests that it is quite something special, and the Great Divide is exactly that. Separating the US and Canada, this trail has been included due to its sheer difficulty. Only the most serious bikers should even consider attempting it, with the total route being almost 4,500km long. To add to this, it’s barely a flat track, and very few people will manage to stay on the bike amongst all of the steep hills.

Nevertheless, if you have tried other routes and want to be classed as a serious cyclist, this is the destination to hit. If you complete it, you will be lauded as a master of the bicycle (and an incredibly fit person at the same time)!

Make your Next Road Trip a Camping Adventure

One summer my girlfriend and I decided it was time to get out and see the world together. Both being freelancers, we don’t have the riches it takes to go on a fancy trip to Paris or a Tropical getaway to Fiji. With a little money set aside, we decided to put it towards an awesome two-week road trip.

Neither of us are the touristy type so we wanted to find something unique to appreciate. Both being lovers of wilderness adventure, we decided that camping would not only be economical but super enjoyable thing to center our trip around.

After the fantastic time we had, I do not just recommend but insist that when planning your next road trip stay at campgrounds instead of hotels. Just so you know how great of an option this is, I want to share some of the reasons you should going camping on your next road trip.

Camping Adventure

You Can Be More Spontaneous

It is hard to be spur of the moment when you have to plan your trip around hotel reservations. Utilizing campgrounds allows you to decide what to do and where to go as you please. While some campgrounds may require a reservation, if you avoid traveling on holidays then you’ll likely be able to find place if you call ahead.

Planning a trip around spontaneity is pretty easy if you have a smartphone. Since my girlfriend and I have different service providers we got coverage almost everywhere. Thanks to 3G we were easily able to look up national parks and decide our next move. It was a freeing experience to not be weighed down by the pressure of plans and destinations, to just go with the flow.

You Will Avoid Tourist Traps

We’ve all been on those novelty family vacations, where we take tours, visit theme parks, and stay at bed and breakfasts. That can get old after a while but you might feel at a loss for what to do. If a campground is your base camp, you will likely have access to tons of cool hikes, nature centers, opportunities for bird watching, and stargazing.

Being the nature lovers we are, my girlfriend and I decided to plan a two-night backpacking excursion. We were initially hesitant to bring our backpacking gear, fearing it would take up too much space. After looking into some top rated backpacks , we found that there we could fit most of our gear in them and there was plenty of space left in the car for other stuff.

Your Bank Account Will be Happy

With the cost of gas being as high as it is these days, don’t add to the expense of your trip by staying in hotels. Campgrounds are always super cheap, if not free. And if you do have to pay a fee it will go toward park maintenance and wilderness preservation.

Obviously two weeks traveling from forest to desert to beach without hot showers or a bed might be a little gnarly. Even though we stayed at campgrounds the majority of the trip, there were a few times we splurged and got a hotel. As the two weeks came to an end we realized how much money we saved and decided get a Jacuzzi Suite for the last few days of our trip.

After having this experience, I don’t think I’ll ever look at traveling the same again. Whether you are single, couple, or family, try including camping on your next trip.

Travelling In Egypt

When we are travelling in Egypt, we are surely in for a treat. It is a country with fascinating culture and ancient history. We should be able to see hospitable, friendly customs, long-standing artistic traditions and intriguing archaeological riches. Egypt is really a wonderful place we can visit. When planning to go to Egypt, we should know what to expect from its people and culture. Islam is the dominant religion is the country, while Coptic Christians also has significant presence. Travellers should adapt to traditions that dominate the country. Except for Christian-owner companies, many businesses close on Fridays, but open at Sunday.

Muslims pray five times a day, so we should check the daily prayer schedules before we plan to visit a business or house. We shouldn’t be surprised if activities stop temporarily when the prayer is conducted. Like in any Muslim-dominated country, consumption of alcohol is more restricted. However, liquors for foreigners are accessible, as long as it isn’t overdone and people don’t get drunk in public. When in doubt, we should ask whether a particular social situation is appropriate for alcohol drinking. However, it is typically unacceptable during family gathering situations.

Customs usually allow us to bring one liter of alcohol, but it is important to check it first. In Egypt, alcoholic beverages are available in specified liquor stores and duty-free ships. It would be very unlikely to get wine or beer in any Muslim-owner eating places. Crime in Egypt is typically rare, but we should still be prudent. The local culture puts plenty of emphasis on the extended family and each is responsible for the good reputations of others. Bad deeds done by someone in the family is considered as a shame for the whole family. As a result, crime in Egypt is relatively under control.

In fact, many travellers believe that many parts of Cairo are much safer than in some Western cities. However, it is still essential to take the standard precautions. Unless we are familiar with the area, we shouldn’t walk alone. We should keep our money, traveller’s cheques, passports and other valuables protected. We should be wary of pickpockets in crowded areas and our important belongings should be held at all times. Egypt is basically a more conservative Muslim society and women are less restricted. Many of them have professional occupations.

As a result, female travellers are generally not restricted in Egypt. They can have flexible, casual dress code in Egypt, but it is still important to not show too much skin. During hot days, women can wear shirts that cover should, long pants and any loose-fitting clothing. It is generally less acceptable to wear tank tops, since this will attract too much attention. Egyptian men are close talkers and they often kiss other men’s cheek as a sign of friendship. This could disconcert many Western men, but it is a common friendly greeting in the country. On the other hand, Western men should exercise caution when communicating with women in Egypt, it is unacceptable to kiss their cheeks.
